The Shedding and Growth fields visible are dependent on if the cells or batteries are Flooded or Sealed.
The selections are important as they provide generated comments in the Analysis section of the Review page.
The Positive plate growth selection is saved from one inspection to the next as positive plate growth is not reversible. Once it is reported it should always remain the same or increase. Ex: During an inspection the technician reports Moderate positive plate growth but during a subsequent inspection they report None or Minor.
The shedding fields are cleared on each inspection as shedding indicators can be influenced by remedial charging/discharging practices or watering.
