For batteries made up of 2 volt cells the Perform field load test check box is unchecked by default.
For batteries made up of 6, 8 and 12 volt batteries the Perform field load test check box is checked by default.
When performing a Pack inspection where the individual batteries are not easily accessible a Field load test is part of the Pack inspection.
When performing a Pack inspection after the OCV string voltage and Under load string voltage numbers have been entered an Under load string voltage drop alert will display. The alert contains the measured string voltage drop and is color coded Green, Orange and Red to alert the technician to the test results.
If the Pack fails the field load test an alert displays in the bottom left recommending that the pack be removed and the individual batteries be tested.
When testing individual batteries the load should be applied to each battery individually while measuring the voltage of each battery instead of applying the load to the entire string and measuring the voltage of each battery.
