The main reasons to move a battery is if the battery or battery and truck have been moved to a different location of the same customer or have been sold to a different customer.
Another reason may be that the customer has sold the battery or battery and truck and you want to retain the battery information in case the battery or battery and truck are found at a different customer later.

You will first need to create a “fake” customer named “Moved batteries” (or something like that) and move the battery to that holding “customer” folder. Once you have a holding folder you do not need to create another for other “moved” batteries.
It is a good idea to rename the battery reference or ID with the previous customers name. Ex: Battery was at ABC company and it’s ID was 4. Change the ID to ABC Co4. This will help to identify where the battery was previously as after the battery is moved it takes on the new customers name in place of the previous customer.
